Creating a new activity

Before uploading a new activity, take a look at this article to understand the best setup. 

It is important to follow the GetYourGuide guidelines when setting up a new product. The way you set up your product can significantly impact its visibility and its conversion rate.

To create a product:

  1. Go to the Create tab in the top navigation bar > New Product.
  2. Select the language in which you want to write your product content and click Continue.
  3. Select your product type and click Continue.
  4. An informative window will pop up. Read it carefully and click Start creating.
  5. Under "Get started", select one of the two following options: 
    - "Copy and paste your content": selecting this option will you to use our "Automated Content Creator". To know more about the Automated Content Creator follow this link.
    - “Skip and create product manually”: select this option if you want to create the product content yourself.

Product title and product reference code

Titles should let customers know straight away what your product is about. 

  1. Go to the search bar and type in your product title.
  2. If you need an internal code to find your product on GetYourGuide, go to the product reference code search bar and type it in.
  3. Save by clicking on Continue.

To write a title:

  1. Follow the structure: Location: Name/ Type of Activity + any Extra Information.
  2. Everything you write should be in the language selected to create the product.
  3. Avoid writing full words in capital letters.
  4. Avoid using descriptive words like “amazing” or “best”.
  5. Don't use third-party trademarks without permission. Make sure titles and descriptions are accurate and respectful.
