Understanding the Performance Section

Read this to learn how to use the refreshed Performance Section in the Supplier Portal to understand your business results and take action to grow on GetYourGuide.

What are the new performance pages?

The refreshed Performance section (previously called Analytics) gives you business insights on how you’re doing on GetYourGuide. It combines key metrics with recommended actions you can take to optimize your products and drive growth.

You’ll see two views:

  • Business performance (overall results across your products)
  • Product performance (results for a specific product)

We made these updates to make it easier to take action on the data you’re seeing, and understand better the individual performance of your products. The data also now loads faster and is much easier to sort and filter.

Navigating the business performance page

You can open the overall business performance view directly from the Supplier Portal menu.

  • Go to the Supplier Portal main menu
  • Select Performance

What you’ll find on this page

  • A quick overview of key metrics for your business as a whole
  • A table with a breakdown by product

Tip: Use the product breakdown to spot which experiences are driving results and which ones may need updates to pricing, availability, or content.

At the bottom, you’ll see the newest recommended actions to improve your performance. Here’s an example:

In most cases, selecting the blue button will open up a screen where you can already take action on the recommendation, without having to navigate through to the product edit page.

How to filter and sort

You can adjust the date range for the data by choosing one of the time frames from the dropdown list, or by creating a custom time frame.

To sort the table, you can select the vertical arrows for the metric you’re interested in. You can also look for a specific product by searching in the drop-down menu where it says ‘All products’.

By selecting the ‘View details’ button in the table, you’ll be taken to that specific product’s performance page.

Navigating the product performance page

Here’s an example of how it looks:

You can select the different metric names (e.g. Conversion, Rating) to see the graph for that data point.

Hovering on or selecting the “i” next to the metric name will show you how we define that metric.

You can turn on Year-over-Year comparison by toggling ‘Show same time, last year’. This will add last year’s data next to this year’s in the high-level metrics, and add a new line to the graph, so you can easily compare your performance over time.

If there are any open recommended actions for the particular product you’re looking at, they will be shown at the bottom of the page.

Which metrics you can track (and why they matter)

These pages are designed to give you crucial business metrics so you can better understand your performance on GetYourGuide.

Key areas include:

  • Sales & revenue (e.g., revenue, bookings, conversion rate) to understand exposure and demand, and understand your top/bottom performers
  • Customer feedback (e.g., average rating, number of reviews received, % low rating) to monitor satisfaction and identify trends
  • Cancellations (e.g., your cancellation rate and no-show rate) to monitor lost opportunities
