Invoicing

Access the Finance section.

Navigate to the Invoices tab.

Identify the specific invoice you need.

Click on the three dots icon located on the right-hand side of the chosen invoice.

From the dropdown menu, select "Download Invoice."
This process allows you to efficiently retrieve your invoices directly from the Supplier Portal.
Invoicing Customers
If a customer requests an invoice you need to provide the invoice as required by your local legislation. GetYourGuide only acts as an intermediary between you and the customer. This means when a customer books an activity, the contract for the provision of the activity is concluded exclusively and directly between you and the customer. As a result, GetYourGuide cannot provide the invoice to the customer - it has to be provided by you.
Please be aware that the invoice to the customer should always reflect the total booking amount (i.e. the full retail price charged to the customer). Even if GetYourGuide deducts its commission prior to the payment to you, you are still legally required to issue an invoice for the total booking amount.

GetYourGuide as Intermediary
- GetYourGuide Deutschland GmbH (‘GetYourGuide’) operates an online platform as well as mobile apps for iOS and Android
- GetYourGuide, similar to other online marketplaces (Amazon, Ebay, etc.) acts solely as an intermediary and not as reseller
- As part of the intermediation service, GetYourGuide handles customer payments on your behalf as a Merchant of Record
- GetYourGuide provides you with a monthly invoice (summarizing Retail Price from customer bookings less GetYourGuide’s Commission). There is a direct connection between money paid by the customer (Retail Price) and the service provided by you - the customer contract and the service provision is directly between you and the customer
Supplier Commission
- For the intermediation service, GetYourGuide imposes a Commission (‘Commission’) plus VAT if applicable, as agreed with your account manager
- The Commission represents the cost for your company and we recommend considering this cost when setting your Retail Price (‘Price’) on GetYourGuide
- You will receive an invoice from GetYourGuide compliant with applicable VAT regulations each invoicing period, which shows the Commission you incurred - this document also details your earnings from bookings on GetYourGuide and net amount payable to you across these two items (earnings from Retail Price bookings and Commission cost)
Supplier as Reseller
- Contractually, you render your service directly to the customer and therefore you are responsible for providing a customer invoice where requested
- All necessary information on customers who booked your activity via GetYourGuide is available from your online GetYourGuide account
- You should prepare customer invoices - where requested - with this information
- GetYourGuide is not permitted to provide tax or accounting advice, therefore please consult your accounting department or tax advisor on any specific queries
