Setting Up Your Revolut GBP Bank Account to receive payment from GetYourGuide

This article is relevant if you have a GBP bank account with Revolut and wish to use it to receive payments from GetYourGuide. It aims to help suppliers with a Revolut bank account located in the UK, paid in GBP, to enter the correct payment details and avoid failed payment

Instructions to Enter Correct Payment Details

  1. Refer to the Domestic Bank Transfer Details: Use the account number and sort code provided by Revolut for transfers within the UK. Example: If Revolut provides you with Account Number: 38290008 and Sort Code: 200415  for your UK account.

  2. Calculate the IBAN: Go to an IBAN calculator (e.g., IBAN Calculator) select the country United Kingdom, enter the account number and sort code, then click on calculate.
  1. Collect the IBAN generated by the calculator.



Example: The IBAN calculator generates the IBAN: GB46BUKB20041538290008

  1.  Insert the calculated IBAN in the payment details section of your supplier portal.
  2. Use the BIC provided for transfers outside the UK to fill in the SWIFT/BIC field.
  3. Complete the remaining required fields and click “Save”.
  4. Check your primary email inbox for the email titled “Important: Review and confirm changes made to your payment details”.
  5. Follow the instructions in the email to authorize the change.
  6. If your “Payment method” in the portal appears as “Confirmed”, the change has been successful.

Once your payment method status is updated to "Confirmed" on our portal, the setup is complete. The new payment details will be effective from the next payout cycle.
