What is option mapping?
Option mapping connects a specific GetYourGuide option to the matching product/option in your reservation system. This ensures GetYourGuide references the correct item when syncing availability, pricing, and bookings.
Example: If you sell the same tour with different start times or languages, each option may need its own mapping.
Inbound vs. outbound connectors: which one do you use?

- Inbound connector: Your reservation system provides a guided integration flow to connect to GetYourGuide. Mapping is typically completed through the system’s integration steps.
- Outbound connector: GetYourGuide connects out to your reservation system via API. You map options in the Supplier Portal and may need an External Product ID.
