Special offer legal disclaimer
Before you create any special offer, here are some price rules you need to know:
You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations when displaying prices, including but not limited to the obligation to include all taxes and all fees in the price you display.
At the time of the introduction of a strike-through price, the strike-through price must be the lowest price charged for the product within the preceding month.
This strike-through price may then remain on the activity offer for 30 days and needs to be removed after the expiration of 30 days.
Don't raise your prices then create an offer - we monitor this and repeated violations will block you from using special offers.
💡 Want a permanent lower price? Don't use special offers. Instead, go to your pricing settings and change your regular price.
About special offers
Reduce your prices for a limited time to attract travelers to your activity. These discounts are called "special offers," and you set them up here under Create > Special offer.

How to create a special offer
Step 1: Go to the Supplier Portal > Create > Special offer
Step 2: Fill out the form
You'll see a form with several sections. Here's what each one means:
-
Enter the name of your special offer (e.g. Spring 2026 offer. This is just for you to remember - travelers won't see this)
-
Select the product and option that you want the offer to be applied to. You can select more than one.
-
Choose which dates you want the discount to apply to. These are tour dates (when travelers will do the activity), not booking/checkout dates.
-
Choose what kind of discount you want (see next section)
-
Select the days and time slots you want the offer to be applied to.
Pick specific days of the week if you want (like only Mondays and Tuesdays), or pick specific times if you want (like only 2 PM tours). By default, it applies to all slots.
-
Choose the % discount and number of seats you want the offer to apply to (Example: You have 20 seats total, but only want to discount 10 of them). By default, it applies to all seats.
Step 3: Review and publish
Double-check everything, then click Create special offer. Your offer will go live right away! You can manage and edit the offer under Manage > Special offers.
Types of special offers
There are 3 main types of special offers. Here's when to use each one:
1. Standard Limited-Time Offer
Simple discount for a set period of time. Anyone can book and get the discount during that time. Example: "20% off all January tours"
Best for:
- Promoting your activity during slow seasons
- Running a general sale
- Testing if a lower price brings more bookings or boost your bookings
How it works: Travelers see the discount and can book anytime during your offer dates.
2. Early-Bird Offer
Discount for travelers who book far in advance.
Example: "Book at least 10 days ahead and save 15%"
Best for:
- Getting money in your pocket earlier
- Knowing how many guests to expect in advance
- Planning your staffing needs
- Beating your competition to early bookings
How it works:
- You set a "booking notice" number (like 10 days)
- Travelers must book at least that many days before the activity date
- If your activity is on June 15 and you set 10 days notice, travelers must book by June 5 to get the discount
3. Last-Minute Offer
Discount for travelers who book very close to the activity date.
Example: "Book within 2 days and save 25%"
Best for:
- Filling empty seats at the last minute
- Making some money instead of no money from empty seats
- Attracting spontaneous travelers
How it works:
- You set a "booking notice" number (like 2 days)
- Travelers can only get the discount if they book within that window
- If your activity is on June 15 and you set 2 days notice, travelers booking on June 13, 14, or 15 get the discount

Frequently asked questions
1. What dates do I enter - when travelers book (checkout) or when they take the tour (travel dates)?
You need to select activity dates, meaning when travelers actually DO your tour. For example: If you want to fill tours in August, you will set activity dates as August 1-31. Travelers might book in June or July, but the discount applies to tours happening in August. Think of it this way: "Which tour dates do I want to discount?"
2. Will my offer show up immediately?
Yes! Your special offer goes live the moment you click "Create special offer"*. Travelers will see the discount on your listing, with the original price crossed out and your new offer price highlighted in red. Here's what it looks like:
*Note: It may take a few minutes to be reflected on the customer website.
3. Can I apply one offer to multiple options?
Yes! Under “product and options", you can select:
- One product with all options
- One product with specific options only
- Multiple products (if you want the same offer across different activities)
4. How does "booking notice" work for early-bird and last-minute offers?
For early-bird offers: "10 days booking notice" means travelers must book at least 10 days before the activity date. For example, if the activity date is June 15 and a 10 day booking notice is required → Travelers must book by June 5 to get the discount.
For last-minute offers: "2 days booking notice" means travelers must book within 2 days of the activity date. For example, if the activity date is June 15 and you set a 2-day booking notice → Travelers can get the discount if they book on June 13, 14, or 15 (depending on your product’s cut-off time).
5. What if my time slots don't match what's shown?
The system pulls your time slots from your product settings. If they're wrong:
Check your product availability settings first - make sure your times are set up correctly there
Recently added time slots? They should appear automatically, but might take a few hours
Still not showing up? Contact our support team.
